The best French fries in Stratford. A true classic.
Was at the Canadian Tire location yesterday. The fries where the worst I ever had! Super disappointed. They where still raw!... Still can't alter my previous review. I grew up eating Ken's French Fries from their truck by city hall. I even remember when they used to drive up and down city... streets in the evening, bringing their cones filled with deliciously greasy, deliciously salty and vinegary fries to the peopleof Stratford. Little did I know that Bru Garden is a descendant of Ken's French Fries! I took the family there on Labour Dayweekend to have lunch with another family, and we all had super AWESOME burgers, with the same fries I remember from my youngerdays! I can't believe that they offer malt vinegar as an option now. Everyone knows that Ken's fries MUST use simple whitevinegar!!! Everyone enjoyed their meal tremendously. The outdoor dining was quite nice, but be warned that there can be quite afew wasps / yellow jackets buzzing around your meal. This place is definitely worth visiting again (and again and again). I amnot sure if it is still the same owners from the 1990s or not (anyone remember Blondie's Burgers???), but if not, theydefinitely have the original recipe for the fries! Read more
