A quick search of "food near me" we found ourselves here. Good views and nice environment that kids will enjoy too. We ordered... kids meals and a plate of nachos. It came out super quick and the nachos were STACKED and plenty for 2 adults and 2 kids to pickat. Drinks were tasty too! The server and staff seemed super laid back and friendly. Cute spot but food was just ok. Buffalo wing had a sweet flavor to the sauce we didn't care for. The mussels were good but the... Filet sandwich was pretty pricey and didn't have any favor and was tough and chewy. Read more

They wouldn?t allow us to give them money for food. Seriously- no food allowed outside is what we were told. You must sit inside... to eat- only drinking outside. We sat outside and waited 35 minutes. But no, there is not a table for you inside. TwistiesTavern says ?NO FOOD FOR YOU!? (unless you sit inside and sign into an app to do so). Looking for a place to eat last minute, with a party of 8, on Labor Day at the shore?what were we thinking? A quick search... turned up Twisties with some excellent reviews. Needless to say, it did NOT disappoint! I am never afraid to try a ?dive bar.?Relaxing at a picnic table in the courtyard was perfect. While it seemed crowded, we were completely comfortable. The hostesswas excellent, keeping tabs on us, waiting for the rest of our party to arrive. We were seated promptly. The waitress tookfantastic care of us. Food delivered quickly, and very good. It?s not world-class cuisine, but for bar food, very good. I wishthe could have seated us with a bay view but that is not their problem.
