Late Saturday evening visit - husband had 8oz prime rib - it was the largest 8oz portion we have ever seen. The idea of a 10oz... and 16oz is almost frightening. He gives it a 4.5 out of 5 as far as taste, value for the money etc. The price was exceptionalcompared to other establishments. I had a bacon cheeseburger and it was very good. The flavour of the bacon was terrific. Weboth had fresh cut fries and they were delicious as well. The server was very friendly and did a great job. This was the worst dining experience I?ve had all year. We were approached by our server with just the word ?drinks?? no ?hello?... no ?how?s everyone doing?? just ?drinks?? As we ordered our drinks the server proceeded to walk behind us and fiddle with itemson another empty table. When they brought us our drinks the server held mine up and squinted at it as if there was somethingwrong with it. Apparently they were checking to see if it was Coke or Iced Tea. Very awkward way of checking that if you ask me.We ordered our food. I asked for chicken strips and fries as did my friend. When the chicken strips were set in front of us theylooked like they had been in a house fire and then stepped on by dirty work boots. We tried them and they were so hard and drywe didn?t finish them. The only reason I didn?t say anything in the moment was because I didn?t want to embarrass my friends orcause a scene. Then the server came out and started telling us about the teenage dishwasher giving them attitude about being ontheir phone while at work. Do I care? Did I ask about that? No. When I was given my bill it was just shy of $40.00 $40.00 forabsolutely burnt chicken. I?ve only eaten Parker?s one other time in the past and the burger I had was also horrible. A hockeypuck between two pieces of Insulation would have been more appetizing. I will never recommend this restaurant to anyone. A friend and I stopped in for an early supper today. As usual the food and waitress was great. Unfortunately, the amount of... flies bothering us, caused us to get ?to go? boxes so we could finish eating in our homes. Surely something can be done aboutthe flies. On another note, I did like the fries that I heard were mistakenly ordered by the owner - they?re better than theoriginal ones. Read more
First time here, passing through Strathroy. I ordered a steak with mashed potatoes and wings, my wife ordered the chicken and... ribs. Mozzarella sticks as an appetizer. The food was amazing. We half expected a Crabby Joe's-like dinner but were surprisedby the quality of food and the amount you got. There wasn't a single thing we didn't enjoy with the food. Service was friendly.The place was clean, and the music didn't drown out your conversation like most places. Overall a great choice, if we're evergoing through Strathroy again, we'll try it again!
