Just don't waste your time going there. I regret the money that I spent there. The griot was only fat, no meat, the plantains... were black, you can even count how much rice they give you. If you feel like eating Haitian food just come to NY or Florida. Thefood is not worth the money. That Haitian food is made in china. Read more

I'm sorry, this is the worst Haitian food I have had in my life. We ordered white rice, sauce pois, sauce chicken and rice and... beans with sauce chicken. The meat was not fully cooked. We still smelled the lemon in the meat. There was no color to the meat. The meat had not taste. There was really no excuse for the meat to taste like that. The white rice was pasty, over cooked, andno salt or seasoning at all. The sauce pois had an odd odor and taste. I can't even describe it. The beans that were in the riceand beans "diri kole" were HUGE CANNED BEANS!!! I'm not sure what is going on, but food prices are way too expensive today, forpeople to be wasting money on food. Would never go back and recommend anyone. The menu was very limited. Only had chicken andfish available. The wait time was very long. That should have been a red flag for us from the start. Lesson learned. Read more

In translation, the name of this restaurant is "The Blood Of Jesus restaurant"! Living up to that name isn't easy. My husband... and I had ordered 3 different dishes, being Haitian I knew exactly what to expect. I was expecting yummy delicious food. I wasbeyond disappointed. All I can say is it was a complete waste of money and time I can never get back... WORSE HAITIAN EVER!!!This establishment needs a completely New better experienced Chef.. I can do a way better job and I'm No chef! Read more

I stopped by because I was hungry and I had Haitian food once and loved the black rice. I decided to give it a try again. I... ordered the stew chicken and the black rice. I am half Jamaican and grew up on stew chicken and the chicken was not stewed atall. It looked and tasted like chicken that you make with chicken noodle soup. The rice didn?t look like black rice but brownrice. Two pieces of fried plantain. I paid a little over $13 and it was not worth it. Read more

My husband and I have passed this place so many times and he always talks about trying it. We had the day off together and... decided to give it a go. Neither of us had ever tried Haitian food before. I wish I asked names but we were greeted and helpedby such friendly men. We probably had close to 50 questions ???? And we really couldn?t decide what we wanted! Went with thefried goat, omg it was amazing! The sides were so tasty as well. I wish I snapped a picture of the food but as soon as we got tothe car (no indoor dining right now because of COVID) we ate the whole meal in about 3 minutes. We will definitely be backbecause my husband didn?t leave me enough goat and I ate all the plantains..... We will get our own meals next time! Thank youso much for answering our questions and for the delicious food ???? Read more
