This is the real deal authentic Irish pub. The atmosphere will make you think you're in Ireland. The menu has all the Irish... favorites and more. The food was very good and the portions match the prices. We had good service and we definitely want to go back again so we can try more of the dishes on the menu. Read more

Worst Shepherd's Pie. Pub Pretzels were definitely the best pretzels I've ever had out of all Irish pubs I've ever been too. I... expected a giant pretzel which is usually how they serve it but these were 3 warm soft pretzel rolls with a delicious crunchyexterior. On the other hand, for the entree I got the shepherd's pie which was ironically the worst shepherd's pie I've everhad. It was completely dry with no sign of moisture or juice on the ground beef whatsoever. And there wasn't a single pea orcarrot inside, JUST super dried up ground beef. The mashed potato top was also very very bland. Thought this dish would havebeen a no-brainer since pubs are known for their shepherd's pie but boy was it a HUGE letdown. Interior is very nice, love theambience. It's exactly what an Irish pub should look like. A+ for that. But we were pretty much the only people in therestaurant so there was no excuse for the shepherd's pie. We were with a group of 6 so maybe the orders were too much for themto handle? Still, no excuse. Response to owner: the reason I did not speak up during my visit is because you just don't do sowhen you're with a large group. And then what? You return your meal and sit there by your lonesome while everyone else eatstheir meal and you wait foodless for your dish to be remade. Not how it works unfortunately. In cases like that there is no roomfor second chances. One other member in the group had Shepherds pie as well and it was the exact same as mine. Read more

Great place to have a drink - Dog friendly- Food was just ok. Danny took great care of us and it looked like he was all alone.

The food was decent but the service was less than poor. We came here for a birthday and had to wait almost 35 minutes for our... drinks. Tried to find our waiter twice and no one was to be found but the bartender who already had his hands full. Ourappetizers came out before our drinks. It was another half hour until we were able to order dinner which was putting us behindto our next stop down the road. We asked for everything to be packaged to go so we didn't have to try to hunt someone down. Forboxes once we were done. The food came out 40 minutes later. We were never asked if we needed another drink as our cups satempty. Everyone around us was going in to get their own drinks and it set up a really bad vibe. For as much good as I've heardabout this place I would have rather spent my money next door and got a cheesesteak. Not a good first expierience. 2 hours laterwe were finally on our way. Worst service I've had at a sit down place in Stroudsburg in a long time. Read more
