As we were sat at the table, I noticed that the restaurant was not busy on a Sunday for dinner, about 30 percent filled. Took a... menu and waited for someone to take our order for drinks....and waited...25 minutes just for water. It gets even better, we getour drinks and ordered an appetizer, then waited 10 minutes more for another server to take the main course order. I receivedmy chili without a spoon, and no one was attentive or checking us. Finally we received our main course. Not even a drink refill.Very poor service. Food was very good. The staff does not bother your much and responds to your signals proffessionaly .
Went there last night for dinner. We normally go to the one in Middletown NY but decided to try this one instead. Almost... everything we ordered came out cold or lukewarm at best. Except the onion, that was on point (hence the extra star). The finalstraw was when my steak came ordered med rare. Well to say the least,I heard a slight moo and I cut into it. The center was coldto the touch as were the mashed potatoes and gravy. I brought it to my servers attention and she argued with me saying it’smed rare. Offered to take it back and cook it to medium. I said I asked for it med rare! Why would I want it cooked to medium?Asked to speak to a manager who came out with and attitude, explained the situation once again and she eventually removed thesteak from my bill. First time visitor. Had no real expectations but wanted to try new restaurant. Friday night dinner madness. Good sign. Always... worry if a place is quiet. It was worth the wait. Food was good. Comparable to many steakhouses. The prices were veryreasonable. Can't find anywhere back home to even compare prices. I will never find a 8oz sirloin and sides for <$20. Their freerolls was delicious. Service was pretty quick given how busy it was. Keep your expectations reasonable and this place willexceed. Value, service, taste.
