These chocolatiers mean business. There are recent awards all over the walls and after sampling a number of their products, they... are certainly well deserved. We got the sipping chocolate (their take on hot chocolate), frozen chocolate, and a bag ofchocolate chip cookies. The difference is night and day. The chocolate here is rich and flavorful yet somehow light at the sametime. You taste the real cacao and not off-tasting sweeteners. Customer service was top notch - informative and friendly. I saw a review on here from 7 years ago where the reviewer stated the Chocolate here was "inedible." I don't think I've laughed... so hard in a while! I suppose if you're expecting a Chocolate Candy Bar from a grocery store with 80% sugar, perhaps you mightbe disappointed. My wife and I drove to Stuart from Orlando before New Year's specifically to try this chocolate. We readsomewhere that it was one of the best Bean to Bar craft chocolates in the entire country, and we've been on a bit of a chocolatekick as of late. I lived in Belgium for a number of years. I've had truffles from the exact shop that literally invented theconcept of a Filled Chocolate. I'm no connoisseur, but I have eaten my fair share of chocolate in my life. That all having beensaid, Castronovo is hands down the best tasting chocolate bar I've had in my life! Every bar has a distinctive flavor andundertone from the region the cacao was sourced, my favorite being the Honduran, but you cannot go wrong with any of them! Youcan find single origin chocolate in a lot of places in every price range - but there is a lot that goes into bringing out theflavors, getting the right texture, selecting the right beans, roasting them a certain way etc that takes a lot of time, andcheap chocolates do not have that kind of time spent on them. That's what separates grocery store chocolate from internationalaward winning chocolate. Some folks might get a bit of sticker shock. If you go here with a "price per ounce" mindset you'll betaken aback. But you shouldn't be looking at the ounces - you should be respecting the skill and labor of a small businessproducing literally World Class Chocolate in our own Florida back yard. You are paying for expertise and time when you buy froma skilled artisan. You can spend tens of thousands on a vacation to Europe and be hard pressed to find a better qualitychocolate.
