Wanted to go to the restaurant next to it which seamed over crowded and loud 'music' turned us away and thankfully we walked... into Riverwalk Cafe and already annoyed by the other disappointment our expectancy was zero. Then the hostess was super friendlythe waiter very polite and professional so we order oysters and salad and it was amazing. We asked to have the fish steamed orfrom the grill instead of fried and we got it from the grill and it was fantastic, juice and tasty. Super fresh fish and food.The salad with tasty strawberries and nuts all just top-notch ingredients. The chef deserves a Michelin star and next time weare in town we will go there again, hopefully soon ... Read more
The view from outdoor seating was delightful. The special tuna salad was better than expected. The salad was gluten free.
Calamari was good, fish n chips need some work for sure and the service is very slow. For the price of the food here it could... be better after trying multiple places in the area. Read more
For such a pricey menu I was shocked at the lack of care patrons receive here. The one restroom was in the back corner, such... that I had to squeeze through a couple tables (felt bad for the folks sitting at those tables) and pull back a filthy curtainwhere I entered a weird little room where a worker was getting stuff out of a big cooler, only to enter a very neglectedrestroom. When you are paying $35-75 per entree, you kind of expect the servers to be attentive and nice and the restroom to beclean. Sorry... I don't typically give such grumpy reviews, but this place brought it out in me. I'd have taken more stars offexcept that the food really was cooked perfectly. Compliments to the chef. Read more
