I've always seen your truck and recently kiosk at Americana so it's awesome to try it for the first time esp. trying the... originals in NOLA. FYI - If you didn't know beignets (French term for pastry) are a New Orleans specialty and a popular dessertin Louisiana. They were declared the official state doughnut in 1986. Traditional beignets are fried dough served hot, toppedwith powdered sugar. Fun fact - didn?t know Christina Milian is co-owner in this. Street metered parking on Ventura Blvd and aprivate parking lot. Beignets were fluffy and fresh! Perfect amount of powder sugar! Iced matcha was perfect - not too sweet! Read more

For someone who loves sweets I was super excited to go and check them out , the staff is seriously the best I don?t remember the... cashier but she has short her she?s the sweets person and kindness ever. One think I will say not bad but kinda sad but smile tothem and have a small conversation cause I saw how a lady was super rude right at open time to the cashier and the ones makingthe beignet and it broke my heart cause everyone is super sweet and we always have to see RACIST people be RACIST ! so went yousee things like that happen make sure you just smile to the cashier and try to take her out of that bad situation!!! Nice, fresh Beignet bites. Something different and oh so good. Just enough to satisfy. Great Café au Lait to make this treat... well worth the wait. Store is clean, staff very pleasant and got my order right. Music was nice even with the chatter of otherpatrons which made for a nice visit and cool relaxed atmosphere. Read more
