We paid top $ for everything but got below acceptable for our money. Their chopper show consisted of 6 motorcycles in a circle.... No one talking about the bikes, you just walked around the bikes & they called it a show. Only one good night of music out ofthe 10 days they had them. Read more

Campground is like it's own little town. Food, beer, ice, general store, bars, gas, bike wash, two different locations for free... showers, Amphitheater. Great concerts. If you want a quiet area stay in Bear Butte or close to it. We rented our own portapotty. The outhouses that are set up permanently I would not use. They should get rid of these they are awful and it wasbefore a lot of people were there. The only negatives is the sanitation office did not clean our porta potty the last 4 days wewere there and the permanent tin outhouses are awful and need to be replaced. Read more
We just spent the week during Sturgis and this place is insane! There's a full schedule of events going on everyday, thousands... of people, food and drinks of all kind! The amount of planning and scheduling that goes on in this place to prepare for this oneweek a year is incredible. Yes the rv sites are way too small, yes everything is extremely overpriced and there's definitely notenough showers with hot water but they put on one hell of a show and a huge amount of effort to accommodate everyone. Sad to say the best place to stay during bike week is not true. This place is all about money not people. This year was very hot... and waters were 4.00 you needed to lower the price alot of people were dropping because of the heat. Very over priced for beers,ice, food.
