IMO Fugakyu in Sudbury has gone down hill bigtime and you can feel it the moment you walk in. Atmosphere begging attention, food... freshness and service are not at all what they used to be. We visited on a Saturday eve in prime time and it was 20% full -seems the word is out. Hope the new owners can right the ship. Read more
Sushi was ok but "tender meat" for the teriyaki chicken on Saturday night was so overcooked I thought they must have overdone it... in the microwave! The chicken was so tough I couldn't eat it and the broccoli so underdone it might as well have been raw, theorange was bitter. Even the "house" teriyaki sauce was unpleasant. The rice was perfect, but there was nothing elseparticularly appetizing, or even particularly edible. We'd have been better off eating fast food chicken sandwich...at leastthey can be chewed.
