I went to buy bread, and the older bread lady was sour and ignored me while talking to one of her co workers. I said a friendly... "hello" and she just glared at me as she walked over. She stood there and said nothing, which I took as my cue to order. Bought 4 loaves. She reached back and grabbed the loaves and handed them to me. She was the most sour, uninterested personI've met in retail for a long time. I went over to the deli side, then she wandered over there and started to talk to them aswell. I figured I'd cut my losses and leave. The bread is good as far as that goes, but I can easily get Calabrese in 100s ofplaces. Driving customers away one at a time. Read more
Best butter tarts in the city. Butter tart crust is perfect, thick with buttery flaky flavor. Filling is caramelized on the... sizes giving the chewy sensation and the center ooey gooey. Its literal perfection. The lunch fresh warm porketta sandwich is aMUST. Choose your bun & cheese and away you go. As far as customer services goes I've never had an issue with anyone in thestore. I moved to Sudbury for a contract that sadly ended and my next opportunity has me leaving the city.
