This place is in a beautiful setting on a lake. Their food is consistently good, hearty, and fairly priced for the portions and... quality. The plantain chips and dip are complimentary and delicious. Churrascos was amazing! It was our first time visiting and we will be going back. The service was phenomenal. We had... reservations for 7:30pm and needed to push reservation to 8:00pm. We hosted our mom’s 80th birthday event at Churrascos Sugar Land and it was so awesome. They allowed us to decorate the area... with balloons and special linen etc. The staff was so accommodating and made my mom and all of her guests feel so special andwelcome. Leo, Cristian and Jess were our servers and they were excellent . The manager Jose went above and beyond to help uschange out tables for the set up and everything else we needed. He was present and visible throughout the night. The food was sodelicious. One of my cousins from Tampa said this was the best steak he ever had and he travels around the world. We willdefinitely recommend this restaurant to all of our family and friends. What an amazing experience. After 5 years, I can't believe we haven't tried this place before. This was the best dining experience we've had in Sugar Land.... The plantain chips and dips started it off right, and it got better with each course. The plantain fried shrimp w/ chile wasincredible, and the meats were spot on perfect. Read more

We went during Houston Restaurants Week and were pleased that we gave it a try. The view of the lake was lovely. Our server was... attentive and made suggestions for our date night that were spot on, including a wine selection which we finished off. Theplantain chips were so good and I had the pork tenderloin with pineapple vinaigrette (which was amazing and a shareable size). Icompleted my meal with the tequila bread pudding that's served with a cinnamon ice cream...delicious! The restaurant does havesome chilly spots, so bring a light sweater. Read more
