Yummy yummy yummy! I had four flavors today. The Summer Dream has a strong taste of strawberries, the Owner?s Choice is... chocolate ice cream with Ferrero Rocher (super good!), the Pistachio is absolutely perfect, and the Spaghetti Gelato doesn?ttaste like spaghetti, but it is vanilla ice cream with hint of lemon. Delicious! I closed my eyes and felt like I was back on a cobblestone stoop in Italy. I had the Lemon Sorbet & Owner Choice... (Ferrero Rocher-like) and they were wonderful - creamy and flavorful. A regular Sunday afternoon just turned spectacular because we happened to stop by a Gelato place for dessert, and were greeted... by the hospitable and intelligent owner Dietmar. I find in my circle of friends, people with Engineering backgrounds seem toenjoy learning and tweaking the perfect formula for things like Gelato, Coffee, and Photography. Dietmar is a polyglot whospeaks fluently German, English, French, and Spanish. His expertise and attention to detail in crafting his Gelato and Coffeeare immediately evident once you sample the pride of his work.\n\nThe Pistachio is one of the toughest Gelato to master becauseit needs a lot of careful babysitting to have the right temperature, texture, and flavor. We were completely satisfied with thePistachio Gelato here, and we have tasted Gelato from Florence and Rome. The Caffe Barista which is Coffee flavored has the samerich flavor and the sweetness is just perfect. The price is so reasonable too compared to some other Gelato places that don?thave the same level of quality.\n\nWe have a Strawberry and Banana Crepe that?s enjoyable, made from a recipe sent fromDietmar?s daughter in France. It hits the spot when it?s made warm and fresh.\n\nAfter the neighboring customers keep telling usthey have the best coffee anywhere, we would be remiss if we don?t try a Cappuccino as our dessert Espresso drink. The machineis a manual old-school professional equipment that takes skill to use properly.
