It’s good authentic Mexican food. They have Unlimited Softy Ice-cream cone (3 flavors- chocolate, vanilla & mixed) apart from... chips and salsa. Location is awesome, well maintained and I also like their service. It’s my 3rd or 4th visit. I would highlyrecommend Shrimp Empanadas, Mariachi, and Monty-Ray. I only eat chicken and shrimp so I usually order among the above dishes. Read more

Funny thing is, we live by a much closer Gringos but decided to go to this one instead to meet our friends for double date... night. Upon arriving there was a 30 minute wait for a table, no biggie we showed up at like 7 on a Friday evening. We were ingood company and we stood outside and talked until the table was ready. Upon being seated one of our party started crackingjokes with the hostess because, well, that’s what we do ????. She played along and set the tone of the evening. Our“guardian Angel” greeted us very promptly and more jokes were cracked and we knew we had a good one. We didn’t yet knowhow good… we ordered drinks (me with my difficult margarita order subbing and adding the way I do). The drinks took a littlewhile to come out but Angel checked on us consistently to make sure we were aware of the wait times and to make sure we were okand to see if we needed anything. We ordered chips and queso and Angel kept the chips filled. We placed our order while stillwaiting for drinks to come out and he memorized everything and wrote nothing down. (Spoiler alert: the entire order was right). When we ordered the queso he was told I had an allergy to pork and he remembered so when we ordered dinner he knowledgeably letme know that the flour tortillas are made with pork lard. Like my goodness! Super impressed. Mind you he has a full section ofcustomers and everyone seems to be happy and getting the same treatment! My friends and partner’s drinks come first. When mydrink comes Angel explains that the bar made my drink wrong and he brought the one that was wrong incase we wanted to keep it.(They we’re both still good). Angel makes a joke “So are y’all ready to order” we all look confused and are like dang hewas doing so good and then are promptly meet with someone carrying our order ???? great joke! We loved it! Angel then brings ussome of the best sauces we didn’t ask for or know about and we had a salsa mini tasting! It was just next level! Once ourfirst Read more

First of all, Jonathan was an awesome server! The marisco sauce is made with yellow cheese at this location which is different... than the way they make it at the Old Pearland location, where they only use white cheese. It was still good but I prefer thewhite only. My husband had the mixed quesadillas & loved them! My dad had the al pastor bowl & he enjoyed it as well. Thebiggest surprise is that my mom enjoyed the fajita tacos! She has never been fond of "Tex-Mex" food so this was big lol. She hasher own authentic Mexican food restaurant (60 years) so she knows food & flavors. Everything arrived hot & delicious! Thanks toMr. Jonathan for a great dining experience! Read more

Gringo’s is one of my top, fast casual TexMex restaurants. Today I stopped in and order a Zapata plate to go from the bar. ... It’s a combo plate with a cheese tostada, beef taco, two enchiladas and typically rice and beans + the chips & salsa. Pricewas $12.99 - so very reasonable. I’m not a fan of the rice so I ordered double beans instead. Unfortunately they messed upon my order this time giving me a bowl of Charro beans instead of a helping of refried beans and charro beans. Normally I woulddeduct a star for the to-go order mess-up, but it wasn’t typical for them and I like both styles of beans. So it wasn’t abig deal. Customer service is also typically very good, but today it was a little off, even though slow. I ordered at the barand there were only a couple of customers there at the time. As a previous bartender myself, I would have offered a glass ofwater or something while the customer was waiting - but the bartender just took my order and then brought me my food. Overallif you’re looking for fast / casual TexMex, you really can’t go wrong with Gringos. Read more

Good vegan fajitas. Chips and salsa were good too. Went during lunch and they handled the rush very well. Great staff.
