A hidden gem for Chinese dim sum, rice plates and fried noodles. It also serve Hong Kong style egg waffle. We tried their dim... sum, fried noodles, and Hong Kong style egg waffle. They all tasted very good, better than some Chinese dim s restaurants inToronto. I am from Toronto, please trust me. The owner is very friendly and service is great. This is a very new restaurant.Only opened for 2 years. I will certainly come back if I visit PEI again. The restaurant is quite small. Only a few tables. This is the first and a "must visit" Hong Kong style cafe on PEI. The owner is admirable for his insistence of peculiarity,... quality, taste and affordability. He is polite and attentive. We ordered several Dim Sum and meals for brunch. The deep friedstuffed pork dumplings are crispy. Its sticky rice surface is so soft that it gives you a surprisingly delightful texture. Asshown in a picture, the ingredients show the chef's generosity. The BBQ pork buns consist of lots of lean pork. This issignificantly different from some other Chinese restaurants, which stuff a lot of fat pork into a bun. The sweetness and thesaltiness of the BBQ pork are well balanced. The congee with preserved egg and lean pork is well cooked. The congee is thick.The ingredients are also rich. The taste is not too salty. The Hong Kong chow mein with veggie is meticulously fried andcrispy. The veggie gives you an extra layer of texture when you eat the noodle together with the veggies. The seafood friedrice with pineapples is tasty. The rice is well fried that it is in particular form and does not stick together. This means thechef prepared well in dehydrating the cooked rice. The mussels are fresh and still have the taste of sea water. The iced milktea is silky and not too sweet. The place is cozy and clean. It also offers a nice sunroom and a beautiful view of theseashore. This cafe will for sure offer you a delightful experience. Read more
Kozy cafe style restaurant. Food was amazing. Dim sum and spring rolls were some of the best I've had. Perfect, friendly and... prompt service and fair prices for the portions. Sweet and sour pork was crisp, yet nice and light. No old/overly greasy oilflavors to the fried dishes as many places have. Read more
