The food was amazing and the sweet tea BBQ sauce out of this world. Smoke wings only on Saturday and these were great.
This place didn't disappoint me at all. The ribs were so succulent and the barbecue sauce was just right to add that subtle and... tangy to top it off. The macaroni and cheese is to die for and the broccoli casserole is another favorite. Next best thing toyour Mama's cooking. Read more
Tasty bbq for sure. Friendly service and a great atmosphere. What I wasn't a fan of was the large amount of fat in the meat.... Most of what I received for meat was actually just fat. The hash is delicious but the rice was undercooked and hard to chew. Thebaked beans were absolutely delicious! $18 is a high price for mostly fat and undercooked rice though. These folks know what they?re doing. Family run and operated, this is the real deal BBQ. Very kind and inviting staff. I got... a tour of the smokers and a run down on the operations. The meats are delicious, and the sauce is 10/10! I?m a huge fan ofEast Carolina vinegar based BBQ sauce. The ?zesty vinegar sauce?, they make is the most authentic, best of its kind, I?ve everhad. I hope they figure out how to mass produce it, and ship around the country. This is liquid gold! I also read throughsome of these reviews, and I feel like I have to point out how much this family cares and takes responsibility for what theyoffer. Anyone who started a restaurant a month into the pandemic and is thriving while dealing with all the hiring issues, andinflation, deserves credit where credit is due.
