I?m really sad to share this experience but I feel like it was inexcusable. First let me start by saying the food, coffee, and... cakes and Baker?s Sweets have been some of my favorites for years! I ordered a birthday cake from them one week before the day Ineeded to pick it up. When I got to Baker?s Sweets they acted like they had no idea what cake I was talking about but I hadproof of purchase from the day I ordered. Thankfully they said they would make one it would just be a wait which was okay. Thenwhen I get the cake the name that was supposed to be on it was misspelled so bad that I couldn?t have possibly fixed it at homeso when I asked them to correct it they weren?t happy about that. Overall it was such a negative experience and the managerthere that day said ?yeah this has been happening a lot lately? and shrugged her shoulders. One of the best breakfast/brunch spot in Sumter. I've been here three different times. The display case is dangerous, avoid looking in that general direction when you get there... but after lunch definately take home a yummy treat! The staff is friendly and can be busy but be patient, its worth the wait.The food is delicious. The cost is reasonable and the atmosphere is chill.
