Best Italian food in Sun Peaks! My family and I had the calamari appetizer, spaghetti & meatballs, ravioli and chicken... cacciatore - amazing! The service was amazing along with the atmosphere. My extend family and I enjoyed a meal here when staying at Sun Peaks. Everybody enjoyed their meals. Steak eaters commented that... the steaks were cooked perfectly. Drove 9 hours to Sun Peak because we reserved a condo. My husband and I were starving so we found Capones Italian Kitchen in the... Village. We've never been there so when we walked in, they asked if we had any reservations which we didn't. The restaurantlooked like an upper class establishment. We looked around and out of about 40 tables, only 2 were occupied (so why would weneed reservations). They sat us down and we ordered our meal. First of all I've never been to an Italian restaurant where youhad to pay for bread with your meal. Italians always serve bread with their meals. When our dinner arrived, I noticed I had along dark hair on my plate when the server placed it in front of me. I brought it to her attention which she quickly removed theplate. So while I had to wait for a new dinner my husband had to eat his dinner alone so it wouldn't get cold. He finished hisdinner and my dinner finally came which I had to eat alone. The waitress did apologize for the hair but because of ourexperience and having to eat alone, they didn't even offer to reduce the price of the meal. For what appeared to be a high classrestaurant, they sure don't know how to treat their customers. If you want good treatment and nothing foreign in your meal, I'dfind a different restaurant. Great place for dinner. Ordered the second Family Style option (need minimum 2 ppl at the table to be able to order). This was a... pic of the first dish. Well worth it. Our meal exceeded all expectations?so much so we failed to take pictures of the food. Caprese salad and focaccia to start,... chicken parmigiana, grilled vegetables and a side of prawns that came on a lemony basil sauce, Affogato to finish!! All made,presented and seasoned to perfection!! If I had to suggest anything it would be to work on the focaccia a bit just because Iprefer a pan bread style. We will be back!! Read more
