We tried this place for the historical significance and enjoyed the lovely dining room more than we expected. It's historic... with modern upgrades. Food was very good and the service was adequate but not amazing. The bathrooms are interesting becausethey are a tight squeeze but it's a historical building. We hope to return again soon. Read more
The Edison was better than we expected. I have driven by many times but I finally tried it. The food was good, the dining... area was clean and historic with a modern feel. This was our first visit after the remodel and new chef. The feeling in the front restaurant is cozy like a classic library or... traditional gentleman's club: wood paneling with indirect lighting, beautiful oak tables, carved panel chairs, and librarytable lamps. Fantastic! New menu and chef are really great. Old Edison staples like Beef on a Bun remain, along with delicious new creations.... Decent beer selection, with a rotating tap that always features something special. Our service was EXCELLENT and the atmospherequaint. We'll be back! Read more
