I looked up Sunset Beach and I saw this place on Google I thought this would be a nice place to check out it?s been here for a... long time something it?s had the same chef the 52 years and the ambience was great. We didn?t eat a whole lot we weren?t reallythat hungry but the food we did eat was well prepared and the staff waiters were friendly and attentive you can drive your boatup to the dock and Park it and go inside I guess it gets really busy during dinner hours we got here late and it wasn?t toocrowded the website says it takes two weeks to get a reservation but we were able to walk right in this is a good place andwould recommend it Read more

Expensive but excellent.. went for our wedding anniversary, so it was a special occasion. First, drinks in the bar. $14.75 for a... very small martini (smirnoff) Their service model as a "team" is very efficient and very personalized. As the staff addressed usmy last name. The bread was hot, fresh and delicious with real better. So impressed by my own serving of butter separate from myhusband's. The salad was a large serving. Comprised of various, fresh vegetables and restaurant made dressing. The side of ricehad no flavor, very under seasoned. I ordered the crab legs ($110.00), perfectly prepared. So plentiful I took half the 20 ozhome. They gave a complimentary cheesecake to go, which was very nice. Love the old school atmosphere. I recommend for a specialoccasion as it is pricey. Read more

Captain Jacks. An adventure from start to finish. We entered the building and were greeted and told there would be a half hour... wait and we could wait in the lounge. Sounded odd but we waited in a nice seated area to the left of the entrance booth andlistened to live music played by a older gentleman who was using the piano as well as the harmonica and singing. He was verytalented and they took our drink and appetizer orders in there. The half hour sped by very fast and they escorted us to ourtable in almost a celebrity like way, employees stopping to let you pass and greeting you. We were seated at a small two personcandle lit table with live flowers in a vase where we ordered the two servings of king crab. No prices listed or discussed so Iwas a bit worried. But the crab was so insanely good, as were the salads, the quesadilla and the bread, the cost stressdisappeared. It came out to 280$. I was expecting more honestly but it was worth every penny. Insanely amazing service, food andentertainment. I will be coming back and every time I?m coming with new family and friends so they can experience it too. Read more

Great Food, Quality, Friendly staff, Very Attentive, Market Price Seafood so it is roughly $95+ a plate, but it is totally worth... it. I will be back, they have not changed in 10+ years in my personal experience and my family for 56 years and soon will bethere 57th anniversary. Don't let this Gem of a restaurant go away, please try it and you will know its worth keeping this placein business for generations to come. I'll definitely keep coming back. Reservations Recommended for sure, and there is a smallbar where you can sit and drink while you wait, but it is on. Separate check from your tables bill. ???? Read more

Bunny was amazing and really the best part of the night. The crab was good and so were the steaks but if I spend 150 a person... for dinner, I expect it to be better than good. Crab legs were nice sized and cracked all the way down for easy eating. Thesteak and prime rib lacked flavor. The meat was tender and cooked to order but lacked the pizazz we expected from a "worldfamous" cut of meat. The vibe upstairs by the bar, with the piano playing, was fun and had a upbeat feel but that didn't carrythrough to the lower dining area. People eating around us even commented that they wished the piano could be heard down thereinstead of the outdated playlist coming through the speakers. Thank you Bunny for starting our night right and to all of theJack's crew for your for friendly and professional. Read more
