Nice place fun environment. Given there?s not many restaurant options in superior It was pretty good. Brisket and other meats... were great but all the fries we got were chopped up super little and kind burnt. the food took over an hour to come! It wasn?teven that busy. Service was okay. Place was clean and well kept. Would eat there again if I was in town, but wouldn?t make aspecial trip just for the food. Read more
What a great surprise we were in after our visit to the wonderful Boyce Arboretum on this slow Monday! Excellent food, great... western interior and a big outside sitting area plus last not least: great staff!!! Now on our list of ?keepers?:) Read more
Great place to refuel after a long hike in the Superior area or walking around the arboretum. Indoor and outdoor seating is... available. I had a brisket sandwich with sides of beans and fries. Alcoholic refreshments are also available. I was more thanfull by the end of my meal. Read more
Nice place with great service. Showed up on a Monday and was slightly disappointed that they weren't serving from the bbq menu... due to the fact that they get their meat delivery on Mondays so it's not ready until Tuesdays. However the burger/sandwich menustill looked good. Was able to sit on the patio with my dog and the staff brought over a water bowl for her. (Bonus points) Ordered a smoked bacon burger and the presentation was so good the server stopped to get a pic of it before giving it to me.???? It was delicious and the fries were great as well. Will definitely stop in later to try the brisket or ribs. Highlyrecommend. Read more

My wife and I drove to Superior specifically to try out lunch at the Silver King Smokehouse. What can I say. We were... disappointed. Did not know that the lunch menu is different from the dinner menu and that all they serve for lunch is sandwichesand salads. We each had the only item on the menu that remotely matched what we drove there for - a pulled pork sandwich. Wayoverpriced at $13 for what must have been a 4 inch small sandwich with not a lot of meat. And the pork lacked taste. Wantedfries as a side (your sandwich comes with no sides). No fries - out. So we asked for the potato salad. No potato salad - out.Settled on a small portion wedge salad for $3. At that price I won't complain about the size other than as I said, the sandwichcomes with no side and for $13 they could have thrown in chips or a salad. So those are the cons. here are the pros. The waitstaff was friendly, courteous and fast. The wedge salad was fantastic. Cold crisp and well complemented with a blue cheesedressing, grape tomatoes and bacon bits. The beer special is available all day, every day - what was probably a 12 ounce serving- Miller High Life Draft for $3.50. Seating is provided inside and out. Plenty of on-street parking. Would I go back? Not forlunch, but maybe for dinner to try out what we came for - the meats. Read more
