Very disappointed.... we went there for dinner last night, Sunday, at 5pm and were told they were closing in 15 minutes.... So....no dinner, no drinks, etc. I understand short staffing, but it would be nice if the website indicated this instead ofeveryone getting ready to go there and finding out they're closed at dinnertime. Had a great fish fry here last weekend! Just on the Wisconsin side of the St Louis River,.and right next to Mont do Lac Ski and... Rec area. I can't say enough about the FANTASTIC service! Sat at the bar, and the bartender was one of the best servers ever.I was using a gift certificate, and didn't bring cash to top. I offered to buy something else just so I could leave a nice tip.He says, "It's all good. Pay it forward, and double the next server." I'll tell that story 100 times. Read more
Little neighborhood bar no better than any other little backwoods neighborhood bar. The food was fine ? standard bar fare. Only... a few tables inside a cramped space. The outdoor patio has a couple tables sharing space with smokers and buckets full ofcigarette butts. Read more
