Burgers were good, the in-house-made chips were tasty too. I got the BLT and the bacon was a little bit burnt but overall a good... sandwich. Long wait times but that?s probably because they seem to be the only place on the island with truly good food.Unfortunately we?ve been pretty disappointed with many of the other nearby restaurants. We went to Surf Dog today during a rare rain storm here in Surf City. Needless to say they were crushed because nobody could be... ontje beach. We ordered 2 burgers, a chili cheese burger and a pimento cheese burger. They were both outstanding! Great flavorand cooked perfectly. The folks working were super friendly and attentive. They have a varied menu from hot dog to steaks, in a casual and friendly service. Their potato chips are home and excellent. I prefer my chips floppy or cooked lightly and during my last visit mychips were cooked a bit more than normal. One of the owners asked if my chips were OK & I said they were fine. He knew theywere overcooked and said he was training a new chef so they would be re-cooked. They strive for a high level of customerservice. Good deck for outside dining. Read more
