Not bad servers were awesome the food was OK except for the vegetables which were absolutely horrible they were just very limp... and lacked any flavor! The live band was nice. Read more

We were wanting to eat something we don't usually eat - so we tried this place. I had the "Dublin coddle" - a soup ???? with... sausage, large epicenter of beef, carrots, celery and potatoes ???? with a scoop of mashed potatoes on the top. It was good, sofilling I couldn't eat all the beef. It came with a roll, they were out of the soda bread, so I opted for a lemon roll (asopposed to rye). It was definitely different, fennel and lemon. I enjoyed the different flavors. At 1st, there were some fun80's music songs - and then switched to something we didn't recognize. The bar is beautiful- it's a wood/false wood lined withbottles. The restaurant was cute, there was old farming equipment hanging on the walls, a boat hanging from the ceiling nearthe bar, a bouquet of street signs, etc. My husband had the Friday Fish special, he said it was good. After dinner we split acheesecake, you could taste the clean/fresh citrus taste in it. We were surprised there weren't more people for a Friday night, there was a large party before we left but when we entered most tables were empty inside, the booth mainly full. They have anoutdoor patio that was mostly occupied. It was nice trying something different. Read more

Terrible! 1st off our waiter had a shirt on that his belly hung out of. Then when he took our orders he didn't write it down he... got mine wrong and I didn't get some of my food. We was the 2nd couple to order and it took over 30 min to get our food. Doughad finished his warm beer before we got our food! My fish was so dry and had zero flavor! Thats with vinegar and cocktailsauce. The potatoes was instant and nasty. Doug's beer was warm to start. They didnt have any beer on tap. Then his corned beefand cabbage was awful as well! We will never come back to this place! Read more

Very good atmosphere! I was expecting Irish music but still very nice atmosphere. Service during the day, 2ish is a little laid... back, don?t be in a rush. The portions are not small. There was a good amount of customers coming and going. The beer was good,I have 1/2&1/2 and a Black & Tan. They do have options for kids like mozzarella sticks and BBQ wings. The reason for the 3 starsis they aren?t phenomenal compared to other Irish pubs I?ve visited, forgetful service, but they are descent for the Surprisearea! Enjoy Read more

I had the Irish Stew today. I love this dish. A great big lamb shank, tender and flavorful with a wonderful brown sauce and... vegetables. Delicious! I also had the Sweet & Spicy Mary - one of the best bloody Marys I have ever had. My husband has the fishsandwich with chips. It was a thick piece of fish and he like it very much. The "chips" we're natural cut potato wedges. Theylooked great. Service was very slow, but there waitress ( it appeared she was the only waitress there until shortly before weleft) remembered everything we asked of her, even though it was a long time between table visits. . She did a great job for allthat she had going on. It was pretty busy with most tables seated. Read more
