This is a great place to come watch sports and have a drink. There are TV's everywhere and they usually have a variety of games... on. Our waiters have always been very friendly. It can get crowded and be hard to find parking at times so plan ahead if you aregoing during peak hours. Read more
We stood at the wait to be seated sign upon entering. After not being acknowledged for a couple of minutes the short blonde bar... tender frustratedly told us to sit anywhere. We started looking around to find a TV with the game we wanted to watch on it.While looking at the TV'S in the backroom what we think is the manager rudely says you can't be seated in here, I have a largeparty coming. Sit wherever and we can change the channel. We sit at a high top table in the bar area. A server takes our drinkorder and we ask about changing the channel. The beer comes very quickly, but no diet coke and no channel change. The threeservers are huddled up talking, and we don't see Mrs. Friendly manager. After going to the restroom and coming back still nodiet coke or channel change. Our server makes eye contact, we give her the drink sign and she gives a nod. After she servesothers and almost 5 minutes later - bingo diet coke is delivered! The server asks if we want an app, we order cheese curds andask about the channel change. She oh yeah what game again? We tell her, again and she leaves and a couple of minutes lateranother server comes over and asks what game? We tell her Miami vs Southern Mississippi. She then asks Siri what channelMississippi is on. She starts changing channels and asking if this is it. Arkansas, North Carolina every team but Miami. She isgetting frustrated and the short, blonde bartender makes a comment to other guests sitting at the bar that it probably doesn'tstart for two hours. We hear the comment but are not sure it was in reference to us at this time. Then a minute or so laterfrom behind the bar with all the attitude of you're an idiot she could muster she shrieks out it doesn't start until 8:00pm, Welet her know it is on now (deep into the third quarter at this point). I have been coming here off and on for a while. It's not a dive bar and it's not a sportsbar. This place is something in... between. It is always clean and the service is great. Today I stopped by for a beer and a quick snack. I have eaten here beforeand it has been solid. Today was a bit of a step above and it drove me to write a review. I ordered soft pretzels and cheese andgot a mini tub of cheese with my pretzels. The one complaint we all have in life is there is never enough cheese for our nachosor pretzels. We have been here once before and after a period of time following the first bad experience chose to come back. On a busy... Saturday night we were seated right away and were accommodated on every request to see the game from a comfortable place. OurWaitstaff Rachel made all the difference with a cherry on top. She was always making sure we got want we wanted and it was toour satisfaction, no questions. Food was great, drinks packed a punch, and dessert was just the best. We will be back!
