The food is not bad, the vegetables are still a bit raw in my opinion. What annoyed me was that how rush they made my food. We've been going to Edo Japan as long as they've been around, which is a long time. We went yesterday to this particular... location, looking forward to ordering from their menu. Sadly, very sadly they now sell pork on their menu. As diverse as thepopulation is, one would wonder why they would not accommodate people who do not eat pork for either health or religiousreasons. I asked yesterday did they cook it in a separate part of the cooking surface. I was advised they do not, but they canwash that part of the cooking surface. This is completely unacceptable, if there was a Trace of pork there and somebody wasallergic this would make that person very ill. One would think they would accommodate the diverse population by cooking pork ona completely separate pork only part of that cooking surface. So last evening we have now closed the chapter on eating at EdoJapan. Sadly. The great place if you want to go spend 12 bucks on a bowl of mostly rice with hardly any vegetables and a littletouch of beef. The attached picture is deceiving, looks like a lot of vegetables and beef (terriyaki) what is thought is a pikeof rice with a little of everything else. The extra mushrooms added up to 3 in total!! Can't go wrong with some fast ramen food at the mall.
I miss the way Edo used to cook from fresh, my pre cooked chicken was cooked so quickly it didn't even get browned whatsoever.... Also the rice is gross now, so disappointing. Read more
