Chicken biryani is NOT consistently good. First time I ordered it tasted good and authentic but this time it tasted so blunt and... nothing special. They have to work on giving same level of taste always. Read more
Family owned restaurant where you can find authentic South Indian food. Try out their chili idli + masala chai which is one of a... kind. Order times are a bit high but you can expect to eat some quality food. Read more
First visits equal first impressions, and it was a good one. Their dosas were wonderfully crisp and they came with their usual... accompaniment of sambar and coconut chutneys. This is our second visit. The first time we came there was very less salt in all their dishes including chutney and sambar. This... time they were good. We tried onion uthapam, chillie idli and onion rava mysore masala dosa. All of them tasted good. Sambar isalso good compared to other restaurants where we have had South Indian food. Had a couple of issues during the visit. 1) They don't serve rava dosas after 9 pm, this isn't mentioned in their menu or even... told when we walked in. When I mentioned that you could have given us a heads up since we went specially for it rather than anapology we were told 'it's okay' as if it is our fault. Again, I am not saying they should keep serving till later, they canserve till whatever time they want (although 1 hour before closing is abnormal) but they should be giving this informationupfront so people can decide whether to stay or leave and not in the middle of the meal. The easiest solution is to just printit in the menu card. 2) I was not given the bill before paying hence as customary I added a tip and paid the amount on themachine, I had to specifically ask for the bill to get it and to my surprise there was already a service charge (norm is for 6+people we were 5) in it. It is very shady and unethical on the restaurant's part to do this and try to extort double tips. Againservice charges are not uncommon but not disclosing them in the menu is unethical and letting people tip without knowing aboutthe service charge is doubly unethical. Read more
