Been going here for years and multiple times this month. The service yesterday was far below what my family is use to. The... seemed to not want us there. Claiming we didn’t have reservation and tried to squeeze us it (place wasn’t full the wholetime we were there), then the portions were smaller (maybe because the cost of food went up?). It seemed they wanted us outquick too. I hope our next time will be better. Read more
Had a really enjoyable dining experience tonight. The coconut calamari was exceptional! The Portobello mushroom chicken was... delicious, but the steak sandwich was just okay - it was on the salty side, and could have used some sort of slaw. It wasmissing some acidic notes, which could have made it better. Our server, Otilia, was FANTASTIC! She was the highlight of thenight. It has been a very long time since we've received service with this much attention to detail. She greeted us with watersall around, including a child-friendly cup for our toddler (no other server has ever done that without us asking for it first...ever). From start to finish, her service was flawless. She anticipated our needs and asked the right questions at the righttimes. Tonight we went to celebrate my brother & his wife's 25th wedding anniversary. I am so glad I picked this location. Jennifer... (waitress/server) was so organized. The table was ready before our 5pm reservation. My husband & I arrived a few minutes early& put a balloon up, Jennifer greeted us with a smile & had the dessert menu ready to pick a complimentary dessert for thecouple. She took wonderful care of us. I will definitely recommend this restaurant, the food was amazing, especially the fishtacos. The service was AWESOME. A big thanks to Jennifer. You did a great job. Very positive experience. I made a dinner-hour reservation, but it was mid-week, so this ended up not being necessary. The hosts... were friendly and accommodating, but the server - Aimee - was wonderful. Really knows how to make an evening enjoyable withoutgoing overboard. The food and drinks were perfectly prepared; very tasty. The music was audible but quiet; really appreciatedthis as so many places play music so loud these days that, between the music and the conversational murmur from other tables,our conversation can be difficult. But not here; the music was delightfully low. And it was a birthday event, so the cake andsparkler at the end were nice additions to the evening. Thank you! Read more

Our 1st mistake was asking for a quiet spot. We were offered a spot in the lounge...we were led back to a corner by the... washrooms, which we declined. We left the lingering odor of bathroom cleaner and followed the server. We walked through anicely appointed dining room, with a view to the glassed-in kitchen, comfortable seating and high back leather booths, into anaddition that had multiple tables and chairs, but few patrons. We were seated beside a chatty table of six. At the other end ofthis added-on dining room was one couple. At best, the area looked liked a college cafeteria, replete with sticky, worn-outtables and holes in the leatherette chairs. The server sent someone to wipe the table after we were seated and we were toldtheir cleaner "left an unfortunate sticky residue". Unfortunate indeed. The waitress was lovely and gave greatinformation...the food was good, but the $9 Bellini was watery and lacked punch. Overall, we would not go back because partof dining-out is the ambiance...of which there was none. Paint the walls, consider a chair rail to protect your investment andrecover ratty-looking chairs...serve your food with pride in a cared-for space. Next time we will spend $70 in anotherestablishment. Read more
