The food was amazing!! I had the blue crab puffs for appetizer and the Fried Captain Platter. The best seafood on the James... River!! I will definitely be coming back. I would only suggest making a half platter. It was just too much but it was all sogood!! Read more
Fried flounder and bacon wrapped salmon we're both undercooked. One portion of coleslaw was still frozen. Fryer oil seem to be... too cool as fried items were quite oily. Service was good atmosphere was nice prices were okay. Read more
Some of the best seafood I have ever had! After our Busch gardens trip and taking the ferry we had a lovely meal hear and I was... not disappointed! Thank you Surry! My best friend and I took the Jamestown ferry over to Surry to try this place out on a Friday evening. There was no wait to be... seated. The restaurant has great atmosphere on the water and we got to sit on the outdoor patio. However the food was a bitdisappointing. My friend ordered the bacon wrapped salmon and I got the stuffed flounder both served with baked potatoes andbroccoli. Both entrees were really plain and not worth the price. The scallops wrapped in bacon appetizer and hush puppies weregood. The service was good. But not sure if we'd ever return because of the food. Read more
