THIS IS THE HOLY GRAIL OF DELIS. I wish that was an exaggeration, but I am NYC born and Queens-bred, so judging delis and... bodegas is in my blood. Sabeli is 12/10 in every single category, every time I have ordered. I needed to write a review thistime because on this occasion, I asked Ms. Michelle to re-create a sandwich I love from a restaurant in the city. She absolutelynailed it- it required caramelized onions which they do not have ready but they took the time to do it for me during theirbusiest hour of the day (1 pm lunch) and it's those little things that keep us going during our crazy days. Sabeli treats theircustomers like family, the quality of the food is unbelievable; perfect and fresh to order every time. The service is as fast aspossible without compromising on courtesy, friendliness and professionalism. And for those who may be skeptical about the price,I assure you that given the sky-rocketing costs of everything their prices are still extremely competitive and reasonable andbarely reflects the incredible quality of the food you get. I ordered a salad via uber eats and the dressing was put all over the salad so when I git it, it was of course mushy. I had to... call the deli to complain because everyone knows never put dressing the salad always put it on the side. Well the response thatI got from the owner was amazing. What a great guy and all business owners should learn from this. Even though I realized thatit was actually my fault because the way uber has the ordering set up it seems I checked off, (mixed in), thinking that it wasfor the extra stuff I wanted on my salad.
