Hands down best catering we have found around! We have used them for the past 2 years for our Company Christmas Party! Just... call the restaurant & place your catering order. They offer very large portions (their say they feed 30-40, but when orderingthem as sides they really feed 70-80 depending on how many sides you order for your event), they definitely don?t skimp on meatlike a lot of others do to save a buck. It?s very high quality, it all tastes lovely, everybody loved it and was so glad wewent with Hugh Hess again this year! You can tell they stay true to their company philosophy from their beginnings and I?mgrateful the Syracuse restaurant is out west. Thank you for helping our event go off so well! Please don?t ever change theability to order by catering trays! This is why I also returned to you and love the flexibility that provides! Read more

We were visiting family and had eaten here once before. This experience was quite a bit different in a bad way. The service was... almost nonexistent after our drinks were dropped off. 2 of the drinks had odd flavor and we tried to find our server to ordersomething else, but to no avail. Our food was delivered after a longer than expected wait. 2 people at our table ordered primerib. Both were served the wrong temperature prime rib. 2 others had the chicken fettuccine Alfredo, it was swimming in Alfredosauce and was barely room temperature. All the food was room temperature except for the soup. I do highly recommend the Tomatosoup and it is the reason I gave this review 3 stars. It was hot and delicious. If you dine here I suggest soup. Most people who way here will enjoy the food and experience. The food feels fast casual. Maybe too casual. The food is typical... American dinner food. Pasta, Salad, Soup, hamburgers. To me it feels too expensive for typical American food. Although the foodis good and your party will enjoy their meal it doesn't stand out. The beer bread that is free and delivered to each table isvery good. However I wonder if it would be better if their menu was reduced, and perfected. There is a few items on the menulike the Philly cheese steak that is VERY small and lacked that philly goodness. Kind of a jack of all trades is a master ofnone. Read more

Nice place to eat. The chili was no beans and was excellent. The pasta salad was very good with the dressing added. The served... us bread with strawberry butter for the table . It was tasty. Service was fast and friendly. Tables are a little odd for agroup of 4 but they did bring a chair. Read more
