You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy." Jokes aside this place is full of good people. The owners are... real, local, and good at heart. Don?t tell ?em I said that though. If you want local whiskey this is the place to go. They alsohave delicious pizza and other great food. Stop going to the franchise places and support your local business. I always feel welcomed here. It's like my home away from home, filled with family I didn't even know I had. I can only speak... from my experience, but there never seems to be any trouble at this bar. Who would bother making trouble when you can designyour own pizza ?! You ever wanted to try spaghetto sauce on your pizza? Tipsy Tomato has you covered! You want the classiccheese or pepperoni, they got that to. There's games like ski ball and pool, but if you'd rather just kick back...there'salways some sort of game on the TV . A wonderful place..filled with wonderful people. Read more
One of the worst bars I have ever entered in my life. Rude wait staff and waitress. All taps were closed which was... understandable but the waitress got emotional over serving canned drinks. Wouldn?t recommend, downtown Tacoma has far betteroptions - 7 Seas, Odd Otter, Odin Brewing, Incline Brewing, 9 Engines. Read more
The place is definitely old and a bit worn down so don't go if you're looking for ambience. But the food is really good and the... staff is personable. And everything is clean and you can tell that they care about upkeep even if time has gotten the better ofit in some areas. There's 4 pool tables, a skeeball machine and darts to occupy you plus the typical jukebox with a billion songchoices. I've gone there for a pool league I'm in and they always provide ice cold water for us, and well anyone actually in abig sports water cooler stacked with cups.
