The location is great, right along the river with a great view. The food was good not great but wow, it was expensive. For a hot... dog with fries, nachos and a beer it was $50. Also we tried to eat there but the yellow jackets were crazy. We had to take ourfood to our car. (Only so much the restaurant could do about this) Read more

I’ve been coming here for years, but after my last few visits (and especially the latest) this might be my last. I know it was... a Monday, but one server for 9 tables is ridiculous. She did yer best, and honestly that’s the only reason I didn’t give 1star. The duck was ordered to the chef’s recommendation (medium rare) and it was grey, cooked through, and dry. I would havesent it back but I was so hungry (and it took SO long) I didn’t. Even though it was well done, there was a lot of fat and theskin was not at all crispy. The sauce was two smears that I barely noticed. But the real disaster was the sweet potato hash. Bland without a hint of seasoning (much like the entire dish) and looked nothing more than diced sweet potato fries with a driedout mini-greens salad dumped on top. Sit outside, order a burger and a beer, and listen to the river running by. Do that andyou’ll be ok, but don’t go expecting fine dining, or anything even close to it. Read more
Amazing place to have lunch, esp if you are drawn to rivers. Deck sits at the bend of the Trinity so u can watch tubers float to... their exit point. Food is good and drinks are solid.
