Delicious gelato - try the cinnamon-based Biscoff flavor! Whenever I saw the Dolci Gelati truck around Metro Center in DC, I... always stopped by and grabbed a cup of gelato during my lunch break! So glad there's a storefront in Takoma Park convenientlylocated right next to Roscoe's Pizza, perfect for dessert! Out of a dozen or so flavors, I'm glad I picked the cinnamon Biscoffflavor. The Dark chocolate gelato looked pretty tempting. Most of the flavors are classic with a few unique seasonal flavorslike Cherry Blossom, Blood Orange, and Rose. The flavors at the store are not as exotic as those listed on the website. You canget 2 flavors in a scoop and don't pay any extra! I didn't realize this until after I got my scoop and paid. Dolci, which has two locations, has probably the best Gelato in the DC Area. Takoma Park is kind of blessed with its presence.... While its main location is in Shaw, this one is right in my neighborhood! I have never had a bad Gelato here, but my favorite ofall time is probably their rum raisin, which is otherworldly if you see them offering it. Either way this place is highlyrecommended. Read more
