We went for a late dinner on Saturday night. We were seated immediately. At first we were kind of concerned by the napkins... everywhere, but we were informed that they had recently done a dance where they throw napkins as a sign of respect andwelcoming (I don't recall the name of the dance). The atmosphere is warm and inviting; great for date night, family gatherings,or friends' get together. It took a while for a sever to come to our table, which also concerned us. Thankfully, Jason cameover and took excellent care of us. In fact, we ended up being so glad that it was him who served us. He not only took ourorders but described menu items, made food suggestions, gave us some great historic info on the city, and suggested some coolplaces to check out. It was our first time in Tampa. He even ended up paying for our drinks (which he didn't have to do). Themanager also came over to check on us, which made us feel like they care about their customer experience. The food was freshand delicious. We had the sampler with all the dips for an appetizer, with warm pita (pics included). The sangria (both red andwhite) was amazing (pics included). Our main course was the grilled chicken sandwich with Greek fries. *chef's kiss* Delicious!It looked so good, I forgot to take pics! ???? We'll definitely be going back to try more dishes. A traditional Greek restaurant in the middle of Ybor city. The atmosphere was electric and the place was packed. The food was... absolutely amazing as I tried several different dishes. I don’t know where to begin as I was beyond pleased with this establishment! If I was local to the area, I would patronize... often!!! Sadly, I am not, so this great review would have to suffice. I started off with an appetizer “Shrimp Tinos “ andit was LOVE IN EVERY BITE! I wanted to order seconds because it was that good, but I had a entrée so I held off. My “GyroPlatter” came and it did not disappoint a little heaven on a platter to say the least. My daughter had the “AcropolisSeafood” and she enjoyed it and stated “her meal was creamy and well cooked”. Lastly my other daughter had the “PastaSantorini” I was able to try it and enjoyed the flavors and was very satisfied! Overall, this establishment is AMAZING! Ourwaitress Star was GREAT!!! We were a party of 17 and she handled the service smoothly with a smile on her face and made sure ourcups were filled at all times as well as making sure we were all satisfied.
