I hate paying for mediocre food. Over priced for a single taco, if you have kids stay away from the kids menu, it's overpriced... and they hardly give you anything. Slightly overpriced for the food but you can probably blame the neighborhood for that. The food was good, just not great. You... can tell that it is new and kinks are still getting worked out. Waiting for a table seemed disorganized. Some parties of thesame size we're getting seated before people who had already been there. Drinks and sides that were ordered after the initialorder never showed up to the table. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. They need to hire more servers. The wait time is not good. I hope this place works out well but just the initial impression this... is a place someone puts money into. No one really properly manages it and it closes its doors eventually. Amazing how manyplaces are like this and they wonder why they go out of business. Go in one day into your own business and you will figure itout when no one greets you at the door and then you self seat yourself and no one comes to your table for over 10min The placebefore this went out of business because the menu was terrible and they never adjusted it to the cliental. So people stoppedgoing. This place will be the service. When you have Rocco Taco to compare. That place is similar in price but they have theappropriate staff and atmosphere. I?ve been twice and I liked this place. The atmosphere is good. The drink selections are good, margaritas are delicious. I... didn?t give 5 stars though because my second time there they messed up two things. My soho chicken bowl was supposed to come ona bed of rice and there was no rice whatsoever. And happy hour is listed as everyday until 6pm. I ordered two margaritas before6 pm and when I got my check neither one was charged as a happy hour special (should have been $3 off each). If they don?t havehappy hour on the weekends, the menu didn?t specify this. I know they made some tweaks to their menu recently so perhaps theyhave some more training to do with their servers and kitchen staff. Checked it out for the first time yesterday and was impressed. Young energetic staff. We gave it a couple weeks before we tried... so they could iron out the kinks. Seems like they are getting it together and the food is really, really tasty!! Had the tacoTuesday ground beef tacos Mexican style and they were amazing!! Way better than the other not to be named south (way south)Tampa full bar Mexican restaurant. How can you go wrong for 2 bucks?!! Cold drinks, friendly staff, cool décor!!
