The service here from the counter to management is unacceptable. I went today for the first time. This place has been on my list... of restaurants to try and it worked out since I had jury duty. I ordered the broccoli cheddar soup with my meal but after thefirst bite could tell something was very wrong. I went to the counter to ask multiple times if it was the correct soup Iordered. It wasnt. I was given the chowder with crab with a history of anaphylaxis to shellfish. Everyone at the counterresponded with absolutely no concern or urgency. I left frantically for CVS for Benadryl and I'm thankful it kept me from havinga severe reaction. I called the restaurant for a refund of my meal and the reported manager (Kristy? Definitely not Michelle)answered which makes me believe she was one of the people at the desk. She stated she could only refund my soup despite themajor "error in the kitchen" because I "didn't tell them I had a shellfish allergy." I ordered a specific item without shellfishwith the expectation of getting that item. This woman downplayed the entire situation and proceeded to tell me she also had ashellfish allergy. I have a serious addiction to the hybrid Cuban sandwich here! It is nothing short of amazing! My only criticism is it gets sooo... busy that parking/access can get rough at times but it?s worth the hassle! Always excellent food. The crabs and potatoes were cleaned out early, so I tried the chicken chili, and it was extremely well... done. As always the Cuban sandwiches show why they keep winning awards. Read more
