Amazing service staff! Absolutely worth the trip. Black Friday, every other place we tried was closed or turned us away because... we were a very large party (15). This place was not only accommodating of our large party, but also extremely patient, helpful,and friendly the entire evening. First time eating lunch here with friends. I didn't know what to expect but if my 5 star rating wasn't enough of a spoiler, read... on for more. My adventure started off with an appetizer. Of all the appetizers that were listed, the Karaage really stood out.The description of this dish was by no means a misprint: "Juicy fried chicken with greens and Otsuka special sauce." Every biteleft me wanting more and more. I no longer believe chocolate to be the only thing that can melt in your mouth. Depending on howhungry you are, you can get filled on this appetizer alone. Then came the main dish...the pork chashu bowl! At first I thoughtit was actual cashews on top but it was the pork. I had to just sit and admire the art of how this dish was put together for afew minutes. Though the portion seems small, the plate actually is deep. I actually didn't finish the main dish but got close.Every bit of it was so enjoyable. The sauce, avocados, cucumbers, egg on the side and rice were altogether splendid! I willlikely get this again when I return. Finally, the Oolong Tea. I was hesitant since the person that took my order said the onlykind of tea they had was unsweetened. It wasn't bad at all and didn't have a bitter after taste. I am now glad I took the riskand ordered it. Overall, I had a pleasant experience here. It's a so-so Ramen place. The broth and meat seem to be good quality but the noodles taste like the 99 cent ones at the store.... Also not worth the price. I paid 20 bucks for ramen and tempura shrimp. However the shrimp only came with three and they wereflavorless so you have to use the sauce. Also their Chopsticks have a weird aftertaste to them. They do have a nice atmosphere.My part of the restaurant has a ramen bar, but they also have booths and tables. In the bowl that they give you the eat from arereally cute. And then get brownie points because they were playing anime(subbed at that!) In summary if you want a good foodexperience go to ichicoro.
