Nice environment and friendly service. Great selection of Indian food on the menu. The Chicken Jalfrezi had a nice portion size... but seemed to lack the bold fresh flavors I had hoped for from this dish. The garlic naan was a tad too crisp but overall stillgood. The tandoori chicken wings were not a fresh or flavorful as I hoped. They tasted like they were pre-made and warmed in amicrowave given the texture. I am just describing the texture and flavor here though as I do not think these are actuallymicrowaved as this establishment I do not believe would microwave their food. Overall. It is a place to give a try and form yourown opinion. You may love it or you may feel the same as me and rate it so-so. The good part is. Hands down the very best Indian we have found in the Tampa Bay. Truth be told I haven't had better in my three decade quest to... find the best Indian restaurant. Everything was super fresh. Fantastic atmosphere, great service, and great food. Went during happy hour and had 3 cocktails, all prepared professionally,... and tasted fantastic. The food came out fast, actually faster than the cocktails took to make, and it was the best Indian food Ihave eaten in the United States. Onion bhajis are my favorite starter to a good curry, and I always find most Indian restaurantsin the US are missing this item, thankfully Rasoi has it. Definitely 5 stars, will visit again soon.
