We had the buffet during the Memorial Day weekend. The goat curry / mutton was perfectly cooked and very succulent. I give 5... stars for that only. Enjoyed it with pulao. The hostess was kind enough to arrange teas for my in law , even though it was closeto wrap up time. Read more

Our visit turned out to be buffet suggested at 5pm on Sunday during Labor Day weekend. Not complaining, infact, it was what we... preferred being our first time. Menus were nowhere to be found so I'm assuming this was them steering us to get in line. Plentyof seating available but still a steady customer base filing in. They sat us in the caboose with most of the other less than 6parties. Clean enough would be our assessment, and unique to probably a several hundred restaurants nationwide. Now if we wereto narrow that to Indian restaurants in a train car.... Have to say, we both loved most of the entrees. Decent vegetarianoptions, the goat curry was excellent, and the tandoori chicken was impressive. Daal was a good showing as was the paneer dish.Naan was hot, fresh and lightly buttered. But only available by request. Samosas were a bit blah but not offensive. Spice levelwas mild to medium across the board, and a few things were a bit lively in a great way. I usually avoid tandoori chicken (on abuffet or otherwise) for fear of it being dry. Totally the opposite here and heavily infused with a thick smoky flavor. TheChicken Tikka Masala had a nice sauce base but the chicken itself seemed as if it was a pre-cooked product. (Could be wrong)There was also what I think was tikka masala shrimp dish that didn't appear appetizing when looking at the shrimp. Being in thePoconos, this is a 5 star for food. The 3.8 overall rating shown on Google is inaccurate for the total experience. Yes, a bitrough around the edges, but worth it for food quality. Price is pretty darn fair as you can stuff yourself silly for I think$17.99. The buffet was updated with fresh pans at a reasonable rate and temperature of food was consistently hot. 16% gratuityis added to all bills and they offer you the option to tip on the total including the already charged gratuity. While I thinkincluding the grat is fair, additional tipping beyond that would be generous with the mediocre ser Read more

My god some of the best dessert I?ve ever had was here. Highly recommend Coming in andtrying it. Also! It very budget friendly, somewhere between 10-20 per person for the buffet. Read more

The restaurant is themed on an old train coach. Very uniquely themed place and fun too sitting inside a train coach and enjoying... quality Indian food. The interior of the restaurant is nicely decorated with some traditional Indian wall hangings. They have awide variety of options to choose from. Food tastes very good. The staffs are very well mannered and polite. The prices of theitems are fair and the portion size is good. Before pandemic they used to have buffets, but now they have discontinued it.Hopefully they will start it soon. Overall a very nice experience. Read more
