This place has fallen far from bent street deli. Our meal was disappointing took over hour for food to come out restaurant was... not even busy, our server Angela was extremely kind and apologized for issues she brought free dessert and discounted our meal, the food came out separately and was cold upon arrival, the servers seemed to be trying hard to keep waiting customers happy. Inoticed a lack of kitchen discipline and hadn't notice presence of any management at all if this restaurant doesn't change whatit's doing it won't have any customers or employees left. As a local I will not recommend or be revisiting, and the only reasongiving 2 stars over 1 star is the effort our kind server put in to make our meal as enjoyable as can be in that situation. Today was my first visit to the Bent Street Grille. I have been to the Bent Street Deli many times over the years and found the... changes in menu and layout to be good overall. Over medium eggs, potatoes, dry rye toast, green chili sauce and coffee for meplus one of Deb?s pancakes. She had pancakes with blackberries and strawberries and a side of two O/M eggs and decaf coffee.Everything was quite tasty. The green chili sauce was a little thin for my taste but tasted very good and produced a slight noserun, an important aspect of spicy food. The staff were all pleasant and attentive. The new layout seems more spacious andeasier to navigate. The patio is quite nice, too. Read more

We sat out on the patio and it was very pleasant setting in the trendy shopping area of Taos. My salad was delicious and my... husbands was good but the fries came after dinner. The manager was nice and comped my husband?s lunch and explained that thepilot light was out. So that was a good customer service save. Read more

My boyfriend and I were looking for a break from New Mexican food and we tried this restaurant this afternoon for lunch. The... food- very impressed with the lunch menu selections of healthy options. I personally had the California sandwich with a cup offruit and it was good. The pickle could of been bigger but it still did the job. Good and prompted service. Nice outdoor seatingarea for people watching and enjoying the warm weather. We did have a 20 minute wait for the kitchen but it was worth it. Iwould recommend this restaurant for lunch in Taos.
