This place was PERFECT! I sat outside on the patio on a gorgeous day on Taos, at lunch time. Service was prompt, polite, and... even funny and engaging. The beer was super cold, I had guacamole and chips for app. And the chicken nachos for my meal.Everything was spot on delicious! I 100% recommend visiting LA Cueva Cafe! Only thing that was at all annoying was the parkinglot lack of parking... But I would honestly park and walk a mile to get there after having enjoyed the entire experience in myfirst trip. MUST VISIT EXCELLENT FOOD SERVICE AND ATMOSPHERE!! Read more

¡Que Delicioso! Seriously amazing, extremely delicious and authentic food. Really cute little spot with good service, they are... hustling here and it shows in the quality of the food and service. Also, I love a cultural restaurant that sticks to theirculture, with the decor and the music and the authenticity overall, and this place is on point! I would eat here every time wecome to Taos, if I lived here I know I?d probably eat here every week. We loved it and recommend as the number one place to eatin Taos. Fantastic! Read more

The food was outstanding. The tacos and the fajitas had so much flavor. The chips and salsa were also very good. Unfortunately... you can only get free refills on the chips while salsa refills are extra. Fortunately most meals come with extra salsa. Thepatio space was interesting . Barely any parking Read more

Neat little spot with patio seating and indoor seating. Staff is friendly and prompt. The chips crisp, salsa was great and had a... slight hit of hotness, wife enjoyed the fresh guacamole. Wife had the 2 enchiladas, one chicken with green sauce and one beefwith red sauce served with rice and beans. I had the combination, 2 enchiladas with taco rice beans. The chicken enchilada wasjust chicken ?wished it had some flavor and green sauce mixed into the chicken to pop it. The green green sauce was great andnot overbearing. The cheese enchilada with red sauce was good. Didn?t get a crispy beef taco as I?m used too as it was corntortilla just slightly cooked as if soft but the shredded beef was good inside Rice was good, moist and flavorful. Beans to uswas overcooked. Overall still a pleasant experience. Read more

One of the most authentic Mexican food I have had so far. The restaurant was rustic with a laid back holiday vibe. We tried the... Chipotle Shrimp Tacos and Beer-Battered cod fish tacos. The food was fresh and full of flavor. Seafood cooked to perfection. Thebeans and salsa stood out in my opinion. We tried the agave nectar margarita which complimented the meal. The inside seating wasreally small but it had a patio which was perfect for a warm sunny day. The place was pretty busy but we managed to get in aftera 15 minute wait time. The service was fast too.
