Awesome food! We were a party of 5 and read some good reviews on Jo Jo?s, so decided to give it a try. WOW! The food is... awesome! We tried a few appetizers and dinners that were the daily specials-so good! Everything down to the bread to the saladwith homemade Italian dressing was so good! Our waitress Terri was so personable and fun- guiding us on our meal selections. Wewould definitely recommend making a trip to downtown Tarpon Springs for this off the beaten path local restaurant. Straight out of the gate the ambiance is nice. Reminded me of Forlini's in Manhattan's Little Italy. Nailed the vibe. The server... was nice. I don't drink wine, but tasted our friends sangria and it was actually pretty good. I ordered chicken Parm and askedfor a side of Alfredo sauce. I was told I could get Alfredo on my pasta but everything is made fresh to order including thesauce so she doubted I could get a side of sauce. Weird but ok. Low and behold it came on the side with my meal. I'm not sure Iwould call it Alfredo as it was very bland. I'm not sure it has garlic in it. The red sauce didn't have a ton of flavor either.The chicken was pounded pretty thin, and wasn't overly breaded. The menu said the chicken entrees came with garlic bread, housesalad, and pasta. As you can see from my picture I didn't get any garlic bread though. Our friends said their meals were OK,but they would order something different next time if they came back. Food was very good, Terry our server was friendly & attentive. Meatball was soft & delicious. Marinara was flavorful and... portions perfect size. Antipasto salad was full of cheese, olives and pickled vegetables. Sangria was delicious (,tho a bitlight) and the pour was very generous. I will be back! Read more
An Italian friend recommended this place for having authentic Italian food. IT WAS AMAZING! Cozy diner, reminiscent of The... Godfather, and the food was delicious, with generous portions. We didn't have a reservation, but they accommodated usimmediately. Definitely will return! I had the antipasto salad, so good, and HUGE. Read more
