Everything was delicious! Their pork rinds and kettle chips are made fresh their and they were so good! highly recommended! We... had a party of 12 and the service was great and everyone loved their food. My only complaint was their water it was so bad ittasted like straight up chemicals so much I had to order a soda but other than that great place and can't wait to go back. Read more
Great food, friendly staff, fun atmosphere, and great views of Lake Dora and the seaplane port in Tavares. Lots of patio dining... space. Appropriate in a way for an airplane-themed restaurant, the wings are great! :D Especially worth trying out would be anyof the items featuring their distinctive black raspberry Chipotle sauce. Parking in the lot I am directed to by Google Maps canbe a challenge on the weekends, but fortunately there's a lot of public parking available within a reasonable walking distance,and this part of town is very pedestrian-friendly. Puddle jumper [ puhd-l-juhm-per ] (plural puddle jumpers) a light plane, especially one traveling only short distances or making... many stops (from puddle to puddle). A Casual lakeside dining facility with a fully stocked bar, fresh seafood and delicioustraditional fares. Great little spot on Lake Dora to watch seaplanes in action. Tavares bills itself as "America's SeaplaneCity". Surprisingly great service, wine and food, when you anticipate 'just another burger joint'. Choose between indoor andoutdoor seating. Great spot to watch the seaplanes land and takeoff. They taxi in and out of the water directly in front of the outdoor seating.... Great sandwich selection and the homemade chips are fantastic, highly recommend the onion rings. They have bars inside andoutside as well as upstairs seating. Great little lunch spot. Read more

It is really hard to find good crab cakes but this restaurant makes some of the best in this area. I had the Pilots Platter,... which comes with a steak, crab cake and fried shrimp with 2 sides. WOW. That is a lot of food but it is all really good. Theview of the lake is wonderful and you can watch seaplanes land and take off from your seat. We are going to have to come backand charter a ride.
