They mean it when they say 'meatless Monday.' I went and was hoping for the a Cuban sandwich. I'll try again but, not on... Monday. UPDATE: Went back on Tuesday and the Cuban sub has two variations, one regular, other has cherry peppers. Be awarecherry peppers are on the hot side.. Cuban subs were good. Read more
Of course I've driven by this place. The road appeal may be lacking, but the food is wonderful. I believe the new Cuban... Sandwich winner in Lake County is HERE at the Llama Cafe. Limited seating inside but much of the lunch business seems to betake out. We ate in with great service and reasonable prices. I won't make the mistake of "driving by" Llama Cafe again. Deli Yumma! What can I say from the creative name to the food. I had the Mediterranean wrap, with a side of kale salad and my... husband had the grilled cheese. This place has such healthy food options that are quite filling. I am definitely going to orderfrom them soon! I want to try their smoked salmon bagel. I've been trying to get to this place for a while now and the stars finally aligned and I made it and am soooo glad I did. I... went for breakfast on a Monday and found out upon arrival that Mondays are "Meatless Mondays". I was still happy with mychoices, but kids wish I would haveknown before. I ordered avocado toast and it was amazing and my date ordered a bagel sandwichwhich was great too. We both ordered different coffees and they were amazing as well.
