First time there on Friday, my in laws were staying at the key west resort. The chicken salad melt is to die for, the bartenders... are so friendly and efficient! The mango beer on tap was excellent too! So good we had the same thing the following day. Alsothe live music outside yesterday was amazing!! Read more
My first time going there and I felt like I fit right in. Wonderful place and I have a lot to say but this review is for the... hard working host and hostesses out there. Personally I hate the terms servers, waiters and waitresses. I had Sarah as myhostess and I was impressed. She had a large group of around 30 people or more celebrating a birthday that she was taking careof so it took awhile for her to get to me. When she passed by my table she would stop and apologize about the food taking awhileto come out. I realize there are 30+ people who just ordered food ahead of me and I wouldn't expect my food to be served inrecord time nor would I expect my empty glass to be refilled immediately. Basically what I'm saying folks is pay attention towhat is going on around you because it's not always just about you. Tip accordingly.???? Updated 8-7-22 I guess the best way Icould describe The Dog House is it has a great mix of young and old and you can enjoy being around either one or both. They havea lot of different things going on so I suggest following them on Facebook to find a day you would enjoy the most. UnfortunatelyI don't have enough time or money to do all the ones I'd like. The owner and staff are all wonderful people who make your timethere enjoyable.
