Omg!!! This place is the best hidden gem in the keys! Saw the sign for the ?world famous fish sandwich? and turned around and... came back and got one. My wife and I split it and we upgraded to the lightly blackened broiled grouper and it was out of thisworld. Had an order of conch fritters for an appetizer and they were delicious. If you like a smooth creamy conch fritter, thenthese are not for you. These have nice big chunks of tasty conch and are like the old time style of conch fritters in the keys.Love this place and cannot wait to come back. Thanks Jill for great service! All three times we have been there has been just right and worthy of a 5 star review for this hidden gem. The last time I sat... down for lunch, decided to go with a burger which is unusual for me. I've been through that overstuffed, squeeze everything youcan in between western branded burger buns phase. The price lifted the eyebrow, but I went for it. Captain Craig's burger caughtme by surprise and is the best burger I've ever had... hands down....no fancy eggs, avocado, double/triple meat, exotic extrabacon, yada, yada. They aren't kidding when they advertise best fish sandwich!! Wow!!! The famous fish sandwich is the best I've had.. I had the... grouper catch of the day, lightly breaded, it was an extra $7 but worth it - so delicious and so fresh. I love how it is servedon normal bread, nothing too heavy, so that the fish is the star of the meal. 100% would recommend, can't wait to visit the Keysagain and come back! Stopped here for lunch with a small group and it was fantastic food. They are in midst of renovating the restaurant but it's 90%... done and looks nice! Casual dining with a quaint feel, we had their Shrimp Po boy and their famous fish sandwich and it did notdisappoint.
