This is the first time that we tried the BGR, we definitely love the ambiance of the restaurant, the server's are so nice and... always smiling! I just noticed that it took awhile for them to get our orders or check on us (maybe because it was a busy daybut even then...), my daughter got mc&cheese with tator tots (she loves it), my husband got a emapanada(helikesIt) and I got thevolcano burger, i am not a fan of burger bread, honestly the burger is bland, I still ate it but didn't finish it, luckily ithas jalapeños(alittle taste of spice) ????????? Stopped by on our way from Joshua Tree to San Diego for a Tuesday lunch. Got the volcano burger and chicken sandwich. Food was... average, and definitely edible, but nothing special. The volcano burger hamburger patty was under salted and extremely messy.Most of the cheese gooped off when we first picked it up. The chicken sandwich was probably the best thing we had here, but itfelt like it was missing a sauce or something to tie it in. The tater tots were under fried, soft, and not crispy at all.Everything basically fell apart and we resorted to eating everything deconstructed with a fork and knife. First time dining here and it was my birthday. We ordered the Hot Stone Experience-the 2 meat option of steak and shrimp. They... sing a sang when they bring it out to your table lol It came out pretty good. I got a complimentary ice cream sundae in whichthe server brings out while singing happy birthday as well.
