The place is very clean, The Decorations are beautifully, and unique. Enjoyed the Great Music, and had chips as we waited for... our meal.. our waiter was attentive, and the food arrive fairly quick. The Crunchy Tacos have plenty of meat thats a plus.. TheFlautas are good the rice, and beans also have a Great flavor.. The place is very spacious, with an indoor Bar, and an outsidedining.. We've been here a couple of other times and have always had a great meal, today was just as great! Not too busy at lunch time,... friendly staff. Prompt service our appetizer, queso fundido was good. Our lunches were hearty servings and served hot. I'm kindaparticular about mexican food and I was not disappointed. Chile verde with beans and rice was awesome. California needs a better Mexican restaurant. This experience was not great at all. The two matching pigtail hair girls at the... host desk seemed to not know what they were doing and seemed lost. They seated people who came in after us first when we onlyhad a party of 2. They were constantly on their phones and even heard them talking bad about customers. The food was bland noflavor. Hard and dry and crispy. Carnitas crunched more than the chips. They were drier than a Popeyes biscuit. Drinks were weakand had no flavor. We tried 3 different drinks and all were so gross. Only the beer was good. You can not go wrong with beer orwater. Seriously ONLY order beer here. They can’t mess that up. Hot sauce taste like spaghetti sauce. By far the worse tastingfood I’ve had here in California. Order things that did not even come out and honestly I am glad no telling how that tasted.The only thing I enjoyed here was the live music. Nice place. Appeared clean from outside and nice atmosphere inside. Floors were a bit dirty with napkins and food but otherwise... clean. The staff and our server were great. Prices were reasonable. We all ordered something different. The appearance of thefood was great. I downgraded to only four stars because the favors did not stand out as I hoped for. My chili rellano onlytasted of the cheese and batter. No chili flavor at all. The shredded beef taco was good but… my wife ordered the chili Verdiplate. It was good but again lacking that moist and chili flavor we enjoy. This plate was a little small for price. The othersin our party had the Birria tacos. They looked amazing and would like to try in the future but they did not note any exceptionalflavors. Again our server was exceptional and always there to help and make suggestions. There was mariachis and they weregreat. There was also a very well decorated outdoor area with live music. Overall we liked this place just wish for a littlemore flavor. We will return but wish they had those unique flavors that makes us want to be there more often. Read more
